Meditation can help to relax us
Meditation can help to relax us and to develop and activate our own inner strength. With meditation it’s not about how long you meditate but that you feel 100% comfortable during the meditation. That’s why meditation should only last as long as you feel the joy in it and the desire to do it.
If you feel stressed and uncomfortable during a lengthy meditation, it won’t have an optimal effect on your life. Sometimes it only takes a minute to optimally meditate and sometimes maybe forty minutes. The length of time that you meditate has nothing to do with the quality of the meditation.
For someone who regularly meditates it may take just a few minutes for them to get totally centered and reach inner peace.
Meditation should never be a “manipulation” of oneself. It should be a strengthening of one’s Self.
