With meditation it’s not about how long you meditate but that you feel 100% comfortable during the meditation. That’s why meditation should only last as long as you feel the joy in it and the desire to do it.<span id="more-42"></span></p>
<p>If you feel stressed and uncomfortable during a lengthy meditation, it won’t have an optimal effect on your life. Sometimes it only takes a minute to optimally meditate and sometimes maybe forty minutes. The length of time that you meditate has nothing to do with the quality of the meditation.</p>
<p>For someone who regularly meditates it may take just a few minutes for them to get totally centered and reach inner peace.</p>
<p>Meditation should never be a &#8220;manipulation&#8221; of oneself. It should be a strengthening of one’s Self.</p>
